Have you seen the Gro store? It’s our retail website and a great place to find the full range of products from The Gro Company, including all of the award winning Grobag Baby Sleep Bags.
The products on the website are split into 5 different categories to make it easier to find what you are looking for, or just to have a browse. The new Grobag category splits our designs into style, size and tog making it really easy to pick the right Grobag for you. Help us reach the FSID target

The Gro Company will match donations following the Big Give short fall

There was a great response to the FSID appeal via the Big Give website earlier this month. With a fabulous £40,000 being raised, meaning that £80,000 has been reached towards the Great Ormond Street research project.

Unfortunately the available matched funding ran out in record speed every day, which meant so many of you wanting to donate were unable to and that FSID were unable to reach the targeted amount for the research programme at Great Ormond Street Hospital. To help breech the shortfall we at The Gro Company have decided to step in and help achieve the full amount required. We still need your help though!

Here at The Gro Company we have committed to match all donations up to £22,000 made on the FSID website, to ensure that the £124,000 needed to fully fund the ground breaking research at Great Ormond Street Hospital is reached.

There is no daily limit and the matched funding will only cease once the £22,000 has been collectively donated.

Help us reach the full target and ensure that life saving research can go ahead with your help. Get your donation doubled now!

The Big Give

This week there is an amazing opportunity to raise money for charity with The Big Give, through this The Gro Company is supporting a charity close to our heart, FSID, the foundation for Sudden Infant Death. FSID are hoping to raise £124k for a special research project at Great Ormond Street Children’s hospital that will enable greater insight into the causes on infant death so that more work can be done to prevent it. Donations made in the Big Give will be doubled! So for every £10 donated £20 will go to the charity. Glorious Gold

We had a brilliant night at the Mother and Baby Awards 2011/12 on Thursday 17th, walking away with a Gold award for our Grobag baby sleep bags in the Best nursery product category. It is the 4th time we have won Gold for the Grobag and it’s wonderful to know that it continues to be a parent’s favourite when it comes to essential products for young children. The Mother and Baby awards are the UK’s best known awards that are voted for by a rigorous panel of independent parent testers so thank you mums!

The award ceremony itself was at the Park Lane Hilton and hosted by comedian Alexander Armstrong so a great night was had by all. Here’s a photo of Christian and Lisa shortly after receiving the award.

The Gro Company appoints a new Managing Director

We are pleased to announce The Gro Company has appointed a new Managing Director, Christian Jones.

Christian joined The Gro Company in 2010 as Commercial Director and is extremely passionate about the business and reaching even more parents with our safe sleep products. “Gro is a fantastic company, I look forward to taking our products such as Grobag ,UK parent’s favourite baby sleep bag to new levels of success.”
Christian is the successor of Rob Holmes, the co-founder of the Gro Company who has assumed a non-executive director role.

Kind and Jugend Trade Fair in Cologne

The stand is built, stock ordered, and hotels and flights all booked. We’re looking forward to welcoming prospective new customers and our existing stockists to our stand G040 in Hall 11.1 at the Kind and Jugend Trade Fair in Cologne.

The Kind and Jugend is the world’s leading global trade fair for the baby and toddler market so we are going to spread the word of Grobag Baby Sleep Bags and our full range of Gro products. With over 850 different exhibitors and 1 million square feet of exhibition space (that’s about 17 football fields worth!!!) Cologne is the place to be. If you’re going to be there then do pop in, put your feet up and enjoy a lovely cup of coffee while you have a look at our gorgeous range of products.

Excel Baby Show 18-20^th February

We’ve had some great success in the last two months having been awarded a Gold and Silver award by Practical Parenting and Mother and Baby..

The Grobag Baby Sleep Bag won Gold in the Practical Parenting Awards 2010/11in the Best Nursery Product Category. In the Mother and Baby Awards 2010/11 we were awarded Silver in the Best Travel Sleep Product category for our Travel Grobag Baby Sleep Bag.

We are especially delighted as both awards were voted for by panels of real mum’s and dad’s so are all the more rewarding. It’s great that our continued dedication to quality, safety and innovation shine through and that Grobag Baby Sleep Bags continue to be acknowledged as an essential product for babies and young children.
