After 20 years working tirelessly as the Chief Executive of The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID), we are very sad to see Joyce Epstein retire.

The Gro Company has worked closely with FSID for over 10 years and in that time funded over £500,000 of safe sleep research. The Grobag is the only baby sleep bag recommend by FSID and working with Joyce and FSID we are very proud to have changed the way that babies are put to bed in the UK.

Gro Company founder Rob attended Joyce’s leaving party to wish her a fond farewell, and of course a long and happy retirement.

Since FSID was established 40 years ago, the cot death rate has fallen by over 70% and the majority of this dramatic reduction occurred during Joyce’s tenure. Put simply, there are lots of children alive today because of the work Joyce and FSID have done.”
